This Anglican church and its premises were used as the Serbs temporarily to assemble and worship, until he purchased the estate in Tuvongu 07/17/1956. years.

On this farm is less than three years built hall that the Father consecrated Budimir Djukic 03/05/1959. This room had a movable altar served as a place of worship and as a joke.

In 1963, the unfortunate comes to bloody partition of the Serbian Church in America, which soon spread to Australia. A smaller part of the financial members in 1964 leaving Tuvong and establish new municipalities. Around the church property in Tuvongu initiate the litigation, the court was unable to make a final decision to which the asset belongs officially so in 1970 ordered that, by mutual agreement, this imaovina belong to those who remained in Tuvongu, and since then the Municipality officially called the Free Serbian Orthodox CSO "Saint Nicholas" Brisbane.

The whole time she felt the need to build a church. An attempt was made to obtain from the state government permission to build a church on existing farm in Tuvongu, the authorities would not allow percent was not enough space for the church and for parking. Therefore, it had to find another larger property on which to build a church and ancillary facilities.

Through the efforts of John Lazovic, John GAĆEŠA and Vojimir Niketić, found the property in Wacol, area of approximately one hectare (2.5 ekra) that they 9/10/1968. was purchased on their behalf, paid the deposit and took bank loans, pledging as a guarantee of their homes. You came from the Board CSO in Tuvongu and offered it to her estate in the property. Management refused to pay to the estate of cash or CSO is granted to members of the collected money for the payment of the estate, which will be used for picnics. For six months, the property is repaid.

From 1968 to 1974 the estate were held picnics and priests: Father Nathan P. Ninkovic and father Dragoljub Petkovic on the farm, under the tent, and served several service of God.

However, everyone was missing so the church in 1973 and 74 years intensive negotiations on where to build the church. One group of members of the CSO was for it to buy or build a church near the city center and the other group was the fact that the Church builds on existing farm in Wacol. That's 73 Years Membership Meeting held at which, the majority was in favor of a new church built on the property in Wacol, but the decision was not validly assembly percent were public vote.

Under the chairmanship of Lord Bishop Demetrios 08.12.1974 was held in the new Assembly Tuvongu. Voted by 1 issue of whether to build a new Serbian church in Wacol or 2. to buy over the proposed church in Brisbane. The vote was secret. Of the 93 present members, 49 members voted to build a church on the estate in Wacol and 44 members have voted to purchase over the church in Brisbane. And if all promised that he would conquer most of the minorities, the basic principle of democracy is not respected. Much dissatisfaction prevailed among members of minorities, and since it was not large numerical difference between the two groups, each started separately, on their way.

Larger groups immediately after St. Nicholas, the same year, has begun construction of a church in Wacol. The church was completed and solemnly consecrated Bishop Demetrios cinodejstvom on 24 April 1977.

Another group stayed for some time in Tuvongu, and in 1975 found a brick Methodist church in South Brisbane, and bought the same at an affordable price. The church was refurbished and repaired to 11.12.1978, when the cinodejstvom Peter Bishop consecrated.

So in Brisbane caused two other church and school communes that were independently developed, serving God and the Serbian people.
